My Friend Pat LaytonPat has lived in Big Canoe, Georgia since 1992 in a cozy log home with daughters Sarah and Christine. The addition of grandsons Joah and Gabe has added much happiness in recent years but anyone who knows Pat will tell you the source of her true joy is her faith in Jesus Christ. Her gift is music and it has blessed many. Through the years she has shared this gift with Big Canoe Chapel, Trinity and other churches. Pat recorded a CD in 1996 and has been busy writing new songs for a future CD. Her passion is to share the successes, failures and lessons learned through this journey of life with others. Pat's recent diagnosis has only intensified her resolve. Her medium is music and her message is that ALL things work together for HIS glory. |
Why a Chipin4Pat?Pat left her livelihood in contracting to deal with a stressful family situation involving her mother's illness in Florida. Shortly after her return, she developed severe stomach pain. Physicians and Health Care professionals determined that the 2 ½ x 2 ¼ inch tumor in her pancreas was both malignant and inoperable.
